Skid Resistant Epoxy Flooring

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

PolyMax CNS is a very durable and skid resistant, industrial epoxy flooring system comprised of moisture tolerant epoxy and various selected aggregates. Designed to be extremely versatile, the surface finish can be used virtually anywhere an aggressive skid resistant finish is required. Surface textures can be varied from very aggressive to a sand paper finish. The system's specially formulated epoxy has good chemical resistance, excellent abrasion and impact resistance and good color stability. Quick curing rates allow PM-CNS to be installed under most environmental conditions to return the floor to service within 24 hours.

TYPICAL USE

PM-CNS is designed to withstand the rigors of heavy industrial traffic. Its epoxy matrix and specialized aggregates protect employees and equipment, such as fork lifts, from injury and damage caused by slippery or wet floors. Its most common usage is on ramps, loading docks and stairs in food packing plants, wet process and chemical handling areas where slip resistance is paramount, but it can be used anywhere the ultimate is skid resistance is needed.

LIMITATIONS

Use entire contents of kit within one hour after pail has been opened and mixed. Substrate must be sound, dry and free of surface contamination. Ambient air temperature must be at least 40 F and 3 F above dew point during application. Avoid on or below grade applications where water vapor transmission is greater than 5 lbs./1000 sq. ft. per 24 hrs. or where ambient operating temperatures exceed 150 F.

PACKAGING

Standard packaging is 5 gallon kits. Each kit will normally cover 135 square feet (coverage may vary due to application methods).

STORAGE

For maximum shelf life, store in a dry area at temperatures between 50 F and 90 F. Protect product from freezing and excessive heat. Minimum shelf life is one year from date of manufacture in unopened containers, when stored properly.

THICKNESS

Normal thickness is 3/32" to 3/16" at the peak of the ridges.

All components of PM-CNS seamless flooring are compliant with the State of California Air Resources Board approved architectural coatings volatile organic compound (VOC) rule, San Diego APCD Rule 67, New York City AQMD Rule 205 and the New Jersey VOC requirements.

CHEMICAL RESISTANCE/PHYSICAL PROPERTIES

AVAILABILITY

PolyMax Polymer Products are available only through selected and approved applicators or one of the many Porter Warner distribution centers. This material is intended for commercial and industrial installations and should be installed by skilled, seamless flooring technicians. It is neither designed for nor available for consumer use.

Although materials are safe if properly handled, all personnel who are exposed to any chemicals must read and completely understand precautions and warnings on label and MSDS prior to use.

LIMITED WARRANTY

PolyMax Polymer Products are manufactured to meet the highest level of consistency and quality for their intended use. All products are warranted to meet the physical properties as listed above. Should any PolyMax Polymer Products be proven to be defective within one year of the date of shipment, the products will be either replaced or at our discretion a credit for the full purchase price will be issued. The successful performance of seamless flooring is highly dependent upon many factors beyond our control. Therefore, except for such replacement or refund PolyMax and its affiliates MAKE NO WARRANTY OR GUARANTEE, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF FITNESS, DESIGN COMPATIBILITY OR MERCHANTABILITY, RESPECTING ITS PRODUCTS. Other than that stated in the foregoing, PolyMax and its affiliates shall have no other responsibility or liability, including direct and/or indirect and/or consequential damages and/or damages from delay and/or damages to any third party with respect to the use of it's products. Claims regarding product quality must be received in writing within 30 days of discovery of defect.
